All of our bowsies are handsewn, created using the latest techniques available today and designed to be as full & fluffy as possible. Of course, your preference is key, but here are my recommendations on choosing the right hair fastener for your child. Please see our Clippie Choices in the list on the left to view them.
French Barrettes are generally the most secure for boutique bowsies because they snap into your child’s hair and will not fall out on their own. Depending on the size of your bow, if you choose a French Barrette, the most appropriate size will be chosen to attach to the back. The 1 ½ inch barrette is used for small basics & layered bowsies. The 2 ¼ inch barrette is used for our medium basics & layered bowsies and all large bowsies.
Alligator Clips are wonderful alternatives to the French Barrette for smaller bowsies & embellished clippies. They work well for our smaller sized products due to their lightweight nature. All of our Alligator Clips are ribbon wrapped and lined in velvet ribbon to create a non-slip, grabby surface. The velvet ribbon grabs on to the finest angel hair, as well as the thickest girlie girl tresses.
Snap Clips work well for bitty infant bowsies & embellished clippies. All of our Snap Clips are ribbon wrapped and lined in velvet ribbon to create a non-slip, grabby surface. The velvet ribbon grabs on to the finest angel hair, as well as the thickest girlie girl tresses.
Professional Grooming Bands are great for our Bitty Bowsies, Doll Bowsies and Pet Bowsies. They are high-quality, latex-free and though small, are super stretchy & easy to use in hair. These are not the thin bands you find in the kids section at your local big box retailer! I use only high-quality bands used by professional groomers & hairstylists. No need to twist & twist & twist, tangling hair and hurting your fingers like you do with bigger bands….Two twists with these grooming bands and they’re in! Can I wash my Posh Bowsies products? TOP
With just a few exceptions, all of your Posh Bowsies Bows, Tutus and Headbands are handwashable. Use just a couple tiny drops of mild liquid hand soap or Woolite and cold water. Do not submerge silk flowers in water…spot clean them if absolutely necessary and after testing on a hidden area with a barely damp cloth. The few that are not handwashable include bows with marabou accents, bottlecap centers and certain specialty clippies which will say so in their descriptions. For these, we recommend spot cleaning with a baby wipe or barely dampened cloth at your discretion. Marabou will look ruined even when slightly damp but no worries. Don't pull on it, just dab gently on it. Allow it to dry and then fluff it up with care and it will look as good as new. I found an item I want but it is out of stock. What can I do? TOP
Every so often our inventory depletes before we get the chance to take the item off the page. This does not happen often, but if it does please email us with the name of the product and we will let you know if we are able to restock it for you. Some items are limited in quantity and supplies are no longer available. We apologize if this occurs and hope that you will find another Posh Bowsies product to love! We accept credit cards via Paypal, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. You do not have to sign up for Paypal to pay for your items…your order will be quickly & securely processed through their site and we will not see your financial information throughout the transaction.
We also accept personal checks but your order will not be processed until your check has been received & cleared. Please keep in mind that it may take up to a week for us to receive your check and then another week for it to process & clear through your financial institution. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we do not offer refunds. All sales are final. Please make sure you read the product descriptions completely and know what you are ordering before checking out. However, if you find that your Posh Bowsies product is defective in workmanship upon arrival, please contact us within 5 days and we will arrange for an exact exchange. We will not accept exchange requests after 5 days following delivery. How will my order be processed? TOP
We process all orders within 24-48hrs, if your item is in stock. All custom orders may require extra days depending on the quantity ordered and supplies available. In some cases, ribbon may need to be ordered and will push your ship date accordingly. You will be notified if this occurs. However, everything possible will be done to get your order completed and shipped quickly. How will my order be shipped & will it be trackable? TOP
All domestic orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail with complimentary Delivery Confirmation. Once you receive your shipping confirmation email, you may click on our Order Tracking link to track your package. We take great care in packaging our products to ensure that they arrive protected and as fresh as when they left our hands.
Orders headed to Hawaii, Alaska and all overseas international destinations will be charged actual shipping costs, which will be higher than our domestic flat fee rate. If you purchase an order and designate shipment to any of these locations, we will send you an additional invoice for the shipping balance above the domestic flat rate fee. This invoice must be paid in order for your purchase to ship.
